What exactly are we doing at Valley?

About two decades ago, Valley began a process of pursuing the vision from Acts 2:42. Our desire is to become a community with healthy ministries in each of these areas.

Teaching
We believe that knowing and obeying God’s Word is central to our faith.  To that end, we want to become a community that is saturated with and centered around God’s Word.  We do that through our commitment to the teaching of scripture.


Current teaching ministries at VBC:
Sunday Worship, Sunday School, Bible Quizzing


Worship
We believe that worshiping together is a core devotion of a follower of Jesus.  To that end, we commit to gathering weekly for corporate, in person worship.

Sunday Worship, Prayer and Praise
We continue to stream our services on Facebook and YouTube for those that are not able to join us in person.  We also recognize this has become an important way for new people to learn about our congregation. 

Community
We desire to have sincere, growing relationships with other believers.  To that end, we are committed to gathering in various small groups on a regular basis.

Prayer
Scripture makes unique promises to us as we pray with others.  To that end, we commit to gathering with others regularly for the specific purpose of prayer as well as encouraging one another in our individual prayer life.
