What We Value

Because we value the Word of God, we seek to memorize, meditate on, and obey it.  This is done through Bible Quizzing for kids and teens and Small Groups for adults.

Because we treasure the presence of God, we seek His presence and blessing through our worship services and in our daily lives.

Because we believe in the power of prayer, we emphasize daily personal prayer, regular corporate prayer, monthly prayer vigils and church-wide calls to prayer and fasting.

Because we desire to obey the call to make disciples of all nations, we distribute at least ten percent of our budget to missions programs, regularly send out members as missionaries, and encourage all of our members to be involved in missions.

Because we want to show the love of Christ to others, we seek to meet material needs within the church and the greater community as God provides resources.

Because we recognize that family, marriage, and children are gifts from God,our whole philosophy of ministry is built around encouraging families to be God's instrument for spiritual growth and the redemption of the world.  

Because we know that we are the Body of Christ, we encourage each of our members to use their unique spiritual gifts to contribute to God's work at Valley Baptist Church.

Where We Stand
Because we treasure the precious gift of life, we oppose all forms of abortion and support the sanctity of life from the moment of conception.
 
We believe the Bible defines a marriage as a union between one man and one woman.

They devoted themselves to the Apostles' teaching, and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
